TPI has the capability to manufacture and maintain moulds. Depending on the requirement of the customer we develop moulds with our captive tool room in Chennai or import the moulds from Singapore .

Moulds can be made with design of components provided or reverse engineered with samples given. If the requirement calls for large volumes, or tight tolerance components, we develop our moulds with the mould maker in Singapore. Operational moulds are maintained by a separate team of Tool makers and Fitters.

We use the facilities of the Government owned Central Institute of Plastics and Engineering Technology (CIPET) Centre for carrying out Material Identification and related component analysis. We utilise the mould analysis software Ansys and MouldFlow for runner dimensions layout, balancing of cavities and optimise process parameters for a given component.
