We are looking for a Team Leader – HR & Admin (min 10 years) to manage the full spectrum of HR & administrative responsibilities at our manufacturing unit in Chennai.

The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, training & development, performance management, statutory compliance, staff welfare, payroll, and implementing HR systems and policies. The role also includes ensuring adherence to quality frameworks like IATF and contributing to 5S, SKS, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complete HR processes and systems end-to-end
  • Implement manpower plans and ensure 100% staffing
  • Maintain HR policies, HRIS, and employee records
  • Drive recruitment via multiple sourcing channels
  • Oversee onboarding and induction for new employees
  • Conduct TNA, create & implement annual training calendar
  • Drive and document the PMS process
  • Ensure statutory compliance (ESI, PF, Factory Inspector, Pollution Board, etc.)
  • Timely preparation and processing of payroll
  • Handle staff welfare activities (transport, canteen, celebrations)
  • Maintain HR MIS and personal dossiers
  • Coordinate with manpower contractors and security

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate with a Postgraduate degree in HR
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR & Admin, preferably in manufacturing
  • Background in: Manufacturing / Engineering / Auto / Plastic Moulding
  • Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • Highly organized with strong execution ability
  • High ethical standards and positive work attitude
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead by example
